I lost all respect for the Clintons

Not sure if you have read the most recent incident involving a poor selection of words by a Clinton but check it out (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080524/ts_afp/usvote_080524104813); for me this is pretty much the last straw and there is no turning back. I can not believe that the Clinton's have gotten so desparate to defeat Obama that they would make a unecessary comment about one of the most tragic incidents in American history. Clinton made a irrelevant comment about the assassination of Robert Kennedy who was killed while attempting to gain the Democratic nomination 1968. The comment had no business being brought up regardless if there was a positive spin, especially enlight of the recent news that Senator Ted Kennedy has inoperable brain cancer.

My disgust began back in January when Bill came to the MLK Jr celebration and fell asleep on stage in front of everyone, completely discrediting the ceremony. Over the next several weeks it was followed by several lude comments about Barack that had an underlying racial tone leading Bill to limit his comments and speaking on behalf of his wife. Then there is the fact that Hilary is in millions of dollars of debt which the campaign can not afford to pay back and even though she has been mathematically eliminated she still wants to press forward. For what purpose? PRIDE, but her pride is going to continue to erode the parties chances of starting general election campaigning early and fast. Barack currently has a sizeable lead over Mcain in several polls recently performed in swing states.

It would not surprise me if Hilary pulls out of the race that her and husband pull out of New York especially Harlem. Bill did some good things while in office, but to me the acts of him and his wife during her campaign to win the nomination has tarnished his legacy. The sad thing is most will probably discredit this blog, but do the research yourself. The economy has gone to crap, Republicans are defecting from their party and supporting Democratic legislation (read recent article regarding the war funding bill that the Senate passed this week with numerous stipulations (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080522/ap_on_go_pr_wh/congress_iraq_funding;_ylt=Amq1WsLz4Zt2ShiPK2j11E6yFz4D).

Hilary it's time to step down and stop embarassing yourself and the United States. Let Mr. Obama begin campaigning against Mcain in what is probably the most important election our country has been faced with in years. The country and the economy are hanging by a thread and we need a leader that will not embarass us anymore and begin to move this country forward.
